Siltronic adjusts its dividend policy and plans a dividend of EUR 3.00 for the 2022 financial year

Germany, Munich, July 26, 2022 – The board of directors of Siltronic AG decided today to adjust the company’s dividend policy.

As before, approximately 40% of consolidated net income attributable to shareholders under IFRS will be distributed. Going forward, however, the distribution will now be limited to a maximum of EUR 3.00 per dividend-bearing share.

Large customer prepayments, high operating cash flow and borrowings are the main components of funding capacity expansions. As communicated previously, the company excludes a capital increase for the current financial year. The dividend cap at EUR 3.00 provides additional liquidity for investments.

At the same time, shareholders must continue to participate adequately in the success of the company: In line with the adjusted dividend policy, the Management Board plans to propose a dividend of EUR 3.00 per dividend-bearing share for the financial year 2022 at the 2023 Annual General Meeting.

The dividend policy reflects the current objectives of the Management Board and may be adjusted in the future. The precondition for the payment of a dividend is the existence of a net distributable profit and a sufficient development of the liquidity of Siltronic AG. In addition, it requires that corresponding proposals for the distribution of profits be made each year by the Management Board and the Supervisory Board, each of which may deviate from the dividend policy in the circumstances then in force. The dividend is decided by the General Meeting of Shareholders.
